Chairman Andrew stated he had a conflict on this, therefore he would not
participate.

Motion was made by Planning Commissioner Hersh to place this on the consent
calendar. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Brady, and carried.

Applicant requested this be placed on the consent calendar.

Commissioner Hersh asked that this not be placed on the consent calendar as he
would like to take a closer look at this.

ROAD CLOSURES - 17TH STREET AT UNION AVENUE
Staff report was given.
Public hearing was opened.
Commissioner Brady asked if a traffic analysis was performed.
Traffic Engineer, Steve Walker replied there was and the traffic would be
diverted to either Truxtun Avenue or 18th Street.
When asked about emergency access, Traffic Engineer replied that would be
made a part of the design.
ROAD CLOSURE - McCLEARY WAY
Staff report was given.
Public hearing was opened.
Traffic Engineer informed Commissioner Andrew this area is one of the test
locations for speed bumps, and it was found that it did not help.
ROAD CLOSURE - EASTBOURNE WAY
Staff report was given.
Public hearing was opened.
GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FINDING
Staff report was given.
Public hearing was opened.
Motion was made by Commissioner Brady to place on the consent calendar.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hersh, and carried.

Planning Director Grady informed Commission that two of the Commissioners
would be at the Planning Institute, and there may not be a quorum for the two
Castle and Cooke items, if those planners that do not conflict are not present.
