NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, August 15, 2024, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Tentative Parcel Map 12511: Wiley' D. Hughes Surveying, Inc., representing Ali Alnajar
(property owner), is proposing to subdivide l 0.70 acres into 2 parcels and a designated
remainder in a C-2 (Regional Commercial) zone located at the southwest corner of
Cottonwood Road and East P0checo Road in southeast Bakersfield. A finding that the
project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act will also be considered.

All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Department, 1715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield; 661-326-3733 on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above.
