A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1999-00.
WHEREAS, Section 7910 of the California Government Code provides that
each year the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its
appropriations limit at a regularly scheduled meeting; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge for the 1999-00 fiscal year shall
be commenced within 45 days of the effective date of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield does hereby
set the appropriations limit for fiscal year 1999-00 as $132,121,267(Exhibit 1).
Documentation used in the determination of the appropriations limit is available to the
public at the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 1501Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California.
