NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2024, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Tentative Parcel Map 12522: DeWalt Corp., representing Michael Duncan, et.al., Trustees
of the D.C. Duncan Family Trust (property owner), is proposing to subdivide 20 acres into
7 parcels in a C-1 /PCD (Neighborhood Commercial/Planned Commercial
Development) zone located at the southeast corner of Mccutchen Road and Ashe
Road in southwest Bakersfield . The project includes a request waiver of mineral rights
signatures pursuant to BMC 16.20.060.A. l. Use of a previously adopted Negative
Declaration will also be considered. (Ward 7)
All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Department, 1715 Chester
A venue, Bakersfield; 661-326-3733 on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above.
You may review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Department. If
you challenge the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing
only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City
of Bakersfield.
