NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, 2025, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Conditional Use Permit 24-0019. St. Vincent De Paul Store, Inc., property owner, is
requesting a conditional use permit to allow the remodeling of existing buildings, along
with additional extended operating hours for an existing food service agency (BMC
17.28.030) on a 0.67-acre parcel zoned M-1 (Light Manufacturing) located at 316 Baker
Street. Notice of Exemption on file. (Ward 2)
All written comments must be received by the Planning Division, located at 1 715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield CA, on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above. You may
review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Division. If you challenge
the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those
issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of
Bakersfield.
