Hundreds start 2025 with dip in
frigid temps at Polar Bear Plunge
The New Year started off with hundreds
taking the plunge to get 2025 underway.
On Wednesday, more than 330 people
lined up to take part in the annual Polar
Bear Plunge at the McMurtrey Aquatic
Center thanks to our friends in the
Recreation & Parks Department.
Plungers young and old took a dip in the
pool, going down one of the two slides at
McMurtrey before hitting the 60-degree
water.
