A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT TO CONSTRUCT
CURB, GUTTER AND DRIVE APPROACH AT 2202 B
STREET AND AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTION OF
ASSESSMENT BY THE KERN COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR.
WHEREAS, the owner of the property located at 2202 B Street is
required to construct curb, gutter and a drive approach as a
condition of his remodeling project; and
WHEREAS, said owner has requested the City to construct the
improvements under the annual contract and has contracted with the
City to pay the cost of the improvements through his property taxes
over the next two years; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has agreed to construct the
improvements under the annual contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are
incorporated herein.
2. The City Council hereby confirms and approves the
assessment for curb, gutter and drive approach as set forth in
Exhibit "A".
3. The Kern County Tax Collector is hereby authorized to
collect the assessment for curb, gutter and drive approach to be
collected in two equal payments over the next two fiscal years.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on ~8 19 ~3~7 , by the following vote:
