CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING - 10:14 a.m. 2. ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Palla, Board Members Lundquist and Smith 3. PUBLIC STATEMENTS None. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of May 2, 2024, Regular Meeting and May 9, 2024, Special Meeting. Motion by Board Member Smith, seconded by Board APPROVED Member Lundquist, for approval of the minutes. 5. NEW BUSINESS A. Correspondence Received (City, Clerk, Maldonado) Correspondence received May 10, 2024, from California Department of Water Resources Sustainable Groundwater Management Office regarding Review of Annual Report for the Kern County Subbasin, Water Year 2023. B. Finance Updates (Maldonado) L Receive and File Financial Report Daniel Maldonado, Assistant Water Resources Director, made staff comments. Motion by Board Member Lundquist, seconded by APPROVED Board Member Smith, to receive and file the financial report. Update on SWRCB Meetings and GSP submittal Steve Teglia, General Manager of Kern Delta Water District made staff comments. Daniel Maldonado, Assistant Water Resources Director, Tom McCarthy, General Manager, Kern Water Agency and Board member Palla made additional staff comments on items S.C.i., and C.i.a. b. Approval of Amendment to Rincon Consultants Inc., Agreement for Basin Plan Manager Services. Motion by Board Member Lundquist, seconded by APPROVED Board Member Smith, to approve the amendment. D. Authorization of Amendment No. 2 of the Kern County Subbasin Coordination Agreement. Steve Teglia, General Manager of Kern Delta Water District made staff comments. Board Member Palla made additional comments. Motion by Board Member Smith, seconded by Board APPROVED Member Lundquist, to approve the amendment. E. 2023 Kern County Subbasin Annual Report - KRGSA Steve Teglia, General Manager of Kern Delta Water District made staff comments. COMMITTEE COMMENTS Board member Lundquist expressed appreciation to all regarding the GSP. 7.
