ROLL CALL Meeting was called to order at 4:37 p.m. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS a. Agenda Item Public Statements None. b. Non-Agenda Item Public Statements 3. ADOPTION OF MINUTES a. Adoption of March 18, 2024 Regular and April 8, 2024 Special Meeting Minutes This item was taken after item 4.a. Lilly Valladares-Macias declared a conflict on this item. Discussion on Commissioner Terms Staff informed the commission that they would be reaching out soon with information regarding term expirations and eligibility to serve additional terms or the possibility to assume the regular position by the alternate once the Clerk's Office has concluded their research on the matter. BACKGROUND: In response to Commissioner and Councilmember requests for an updated framework for the Youth Commission staff would like to present ideas to the Commission. These changes would be applied to the Youth Commission at the start of the next fiscal year. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact.
