Along with Wednesday's community meeting, a public hearing is scheduled for April 23 in City Council Chambers at City Hall South, 1501 Truxtun Ave. View Draft Consolidated Plan New sign ofcially marks beginning of Dignity Health Arena era A new era has kicked off in Downtown Bakerseld thanks to a partnership between the City and Dignity Health. On Wednesday, Mayor Karen Goh, Councilmember Andrae Gonzales, City Manager Christian Clegg and representatives from Dignity Health ofcially unveiled new signage identifying Dignity Health Arena, Theater & Convention Center. In February, the Bakerseld City Council approved a 10-year naming rights agreement with Dignity Health. Representatives from the City's Technology Services Department will be on hand to discuss the plan and provide more insight on how the tower will help improve public safety communications. The meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. at Polo Park, 11801 Noriega Road by the maintenance building, just north of the baseball elds.
