NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2025, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Vesting Tentative Tract Map 7471 (Phased): San Joaquin Engineering, Inc., representing LGI
Homes -California, LLC (property owner), is proposing to subdivide 83.97 acres into 363
single family res idential lots, 5 landscape lots, 5 private landscape lots, 1 retention basin, 1
private retention basin and 1 private park in an R-1 (Single-Unit Dwelling) zone located at
the southwest corner of Morning Drive and Paladino Drive in northeast Bakersfield. The
project includes a request for alternate lot and street design, and waiver of mineral rights
signatures pursuant to BMC 16.20.060.A.1 . A proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration will
also be considered. (Ward 3)
All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Department, 1715 Chester
Avenue, Bakersfield; 661-326-3733 on or before the public hearing date/time indicated above.
You may review and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the Planning Department. If
you challenge the action taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing
only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City
of Bakersfield.
