RESOLUTION APPROWNG BOUNDMY
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 97-1
(SPRING MEADOWS II/STOCKDALE HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL)
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the city Clerk an
exhibit map entitled "Exhibit A, Sketch Map of Assessment
District Boundaries (Spring Meadows II/Stockdale Highway
Commercial)", which exhibit map shows the two areas of (1) Spring
Meadows II and (2) Stockdale Highway Commercial, which
collectively constitute the property proposed to be assessed in
this proposed assessment district; and
WHEREAS, said exhibit map constitutes the map (the
"Boundary Map") of the proposed boundaries of this proposed
Assessment District No. 97-1 (Spring Meadows II/Stockdale Highway
Commercial), with the property proposed to be assessed indicated
on the Boundary Map by a cross-hatched pattern.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL HEREBY FINDS,
DETERMINES AND RESOLVES as follows:
1. This Council approves the Boundary Map and adopts
the boundaries shown on the Boundary Map as describing the extent
of the territory included in a proposed assessment district to be
known as city of Bakersfield Assessment District No. 97-1 (Spring
Meadows II/Stockdale Highway Commercial), County of Kern, State
of California.
2. This Council directs the Assessment Engineer,
Wilson & Associates, to prepare a formal boundary map on the
basis of the Boundary Map hereby approved in the form and
containing the matters prescribed by Section 3110 of the
California Streets and Highways Code.
3. This Council directs the City Clerk, upon receipt
of the formal boundary map from Wilson & Associates, to certify
the adoption of this resolution on the face of the boundary map,
and to file a copy of the boundary map with the County Recorder
for placement in the Book of Maps of Assessment and Community
Facilities Districts.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on June 25, 1997, by the following
vote:
