A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT TO
CONSTRUCT SIDEWALK AT :330 G STREET AND
AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENT BY
THE KERN COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR.
WHEREAS, The owner of the property located at 330 G Street has requested the City to
construct sidewalk adjacent to the existing curb and gutter, under the annual contract, and has
contracted with the City to pay the cost of the improvements through her property taxes over the next
two years; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has agreed to construct the improvements under the
annual contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein.
2. The City Council hereby confirms and approves the assessment for sidewalk as set forth
in Exhibit "A".
3. The Kern County Tax Collector is hereby authorized to collect the assessment for sidewalk
to be collected in two equal payments over the next two fiscal years.
4. Said assessment is exempt from the procedural requirements of Proposition 218 and is in
compliance with the substantive provisions.
