ROLL CALL MEMBERS: ALTERNATE MEMBERS: RAUL ROJAS, Chairperson DENNIS FIDLER DONNA KUNZ JACK LA ROCHELLE JACK LEONARD DAVID LYMAN NOTICE OF RIGHT TO APPEAL Any person may appeal a decision of the Board of Zoning Adjustment. The appeal must be filed in writing within 10 days from date of the Board's hearing with the City Council, c/o City Clerk; 1501 Truxtun Avenue; Bakersfield, CA 93301. Appellants, except those within the public notice area, must include a $338 non-refundable filing fee with the appeal. If all appeals are withdrawn before the City Council's meeting, they will not hear the item and the Board's decision will become final. The City will not issue any permit, license or other approval for a use involved in an application until after the appeal period has closed. If the City Clerk does not receive an appeal within the 10- day period, the Board's decision will become final. CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS (Ward 6) 1) FILE NO. 03-0593 - STEPHANIE CHO has requested a Conditional Use Permit to allow a 19 unit apartment complex with parking within a C-O (Professional and Administrative Office) zone district and a C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district. This request amends a previous conditional use permit approved for this site that allowed a17 unit apartment complex located at 2600 New Stine Road. Staff Recommendation: Approve (Ward 2) 2) FILE NO. 03-0603 - MICHAEL BAILEY has requested a Conditional Use Permit to allow outdoor sales of drinking water (self-serve kiosk) in a C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district. The site located at 2100 Brundage Lane is undeveloped. Staff Recommendation: Approve (Ward 7) 3) FILE NO. 03-0604 - FRANK HOBIN has requested a conditional use permit to allow a self-service mechanized car wash with 14 vacuum bays and a cashier's kiosk in a C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district. The site located at 3201 Panama Lane is currently undeveloped. Staff Recommendation: Deny 5. COMMUNICATIONS 6.
