A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF THE UNIMPROVED PORTION OF
GEORGIA DRIVE (ACCESS EASEMENT) ALONG THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF
PARCEL "A" OF PARCEL MAP NO. 3861 IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on Wednesday, December 14, 1994, the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being
Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 1132 declaring its intention to order the vacation of
the unimproved portion of Georgia Drive (access easement) along the
Northwest side of Parcel "A" of Parcel Map No. 3861 in the City of
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation, which
hearing was held on Wednesday, January 25, 1994, after notices were
duly published and posted as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are
incorporated herein.
2. The unimproved portion of Georgia Drive (access easement)
along the northwest side of Parcel "A" of Parcel Map No. 3861 in
the City of Bakersfield, in the City of Bakersfield, County of
Kern, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of the access easement filed for record in Book
4872, page 1996, Official Records, and shown as "Georgia Drive" on
Parcel Map No. 3861 filed for record in Book 19 of Parcel Maps,
Page 38 in the office of the Kern County Recorder, said portion
being described as follows:
That 30 foot wide portion of Georgia Drive adjacent to the
northwest boundary line of Parcel "A" of said Parcel Map No. 3861,
being bounded by the north line of said Parcel "A" and the east
line of the west 30 feet of said Parcel "A", is unnecessary for
present or prospective street purposes and is hereby vacated,
subject to the conditions enumerated herein.
ORiGiNAL
3. A nonexclusive easement shall be reserved for public
utilities purposes in, under, over and upon a 15 foot wide strip of
land within said vacating area adjacent to all of that portion of
the northwest line of said Parcel "A" described above.
4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the C~ of Bakersfield at a regular
