A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A 50 FOOT PORTION OF THE
DEDICATED WAIVER OF VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS ALONG WHITE LANE AT
THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PARCEL "A" OF PARCEL MAP NO. 8383 IN THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on Wednesday, December 14, 1994, the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being
Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 1131 declaring its intention to order the abandonment
of a 50 foot portion of the dedicated waiver of vehicular access
rights along White Lane at the northeast corner of Parcel "A" of
Parcel Map No. 8383 in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to said proposed abandonment,
which said hearing was held on WEDNESDAY, January 25, 1995, after
notices were duly published and posted as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are
incorporated herein.
2. Waiver of vehicular access rights along the portion of
White Lane was dedicated by road easements filed for record in Book
5510, Page 1441, Official Records, in the office of the Kern County
recorder.
3. The 50 foot portion of the dedicated waiver of vehicular
access rights along White Lane at the northeast corner of Parcel
"A" of Parcel Map No. 8383 in the City of Bakersfield, County of
Kern, State of California and more particularly described as
follows:

Beginning .at the northeast corner of Parcel "A" of Parcel Map No.
8383 filed for record in Book 34 of Parcel Maps at Page 144 in the
office of the Kern County Recorder, said corner also being on the
south right of way line of White Lane; TEENCE North 89'12'44"
West, along the north line of said parcel "A" (and road right of
way line), a distance of 50.00 feet, is unnecessary for present or
prospective street purpose and is hereby abandoned, subject to the
conditions enumerated herein.
4. As a condition of completion of said abandonment,
pursuant to Section 8324 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, the applicant shall provide the following:

Applicant shall construct and dedicate right of way
for a right turn deceleration lane along White Lane
for access to the additional easterly driveway
following Caltrans and City Standards, with City
approval of the plans.
Applicant shall relocate existing monument sign and
regrade and/or replant existing landscape berm to
comply with required clear sight view and city sign
ordinance.
5. The City Clerk shall certify the passage of this
Resolution and when the City Clerk receives notice from the City
Public Works Department that the street improvements referenced in
paragraph 4 have been provided, the City Clerk shall cause a
certified copy of this resolution, attested by the Clerk under the
seal of the City, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Kern, California.
