ROLL CALL ACTION TAKEr[ Present: Absent: Mayor Price, Councilmembers McDermott, DeMond, Brunni, Rowles, Salvaggio Councilmembers Edwards, Smith Mayor Price announced these are the first of two hearings to be held on these issues, with no action required tonight. The protest hearings will be held June 29, 1994. HEARINGS Public hearing as required by Resolution of Intention No. 1118 regarding assess- ment for adding territory to Maintenance District No. 4, Division 5, Oswell. (Ward 1) No one spoke at hearing. closed. Hearing Public hearing as required by Resolution of Intention No. 1117 regarding the establishment and assessments for a Consolidated Maintenance District. Assistant City Clerk McCarthy announced that 62 pieces of correspondence have been received in opposition to the proposed consolidated maintenance district and assessments and will be made a part of the permanent record. Correspondence has been received from Stephen Ekegren, Treasurer, Catalina Barber Corp, in support of forming a Consolidated Maintenance District and in opposition to the method used to calculate the new assessment fees. Motion by Salvaggio to extend the time to allow Mr. Eck to complete his pre- sentation and dispense with time limit. APPROVED AB EDWARDS SMITH The following individuals spoke in opposition: George Doderlein; Cory Marcus, and submitted a petition; Paul Powell; Ruben Bartell; Paul Andre; Barry Bentley. Hearing closed.
