Mayor Price announced these are the
first of two hearings to be held on
these issues, with no action required
tonight. The protest hearings will be
held June 29, 1994.

of Intention No. 1118 regarding assess-
ment for adding territory to Maintenance
District No. 4, Division 5, Oswell.

of Intention No. 1117 regarding the
establishment and assessments for a
Consolidated Maintenance District.
Assistant City Clerk McCarthy announced
that 62 pieces of correspondence have
been received in opposition to the
proposed consolidated maintenance
district and assessments and will be
made a part of the permanent record.
Correspondence has been received from
Stephen Ekegren, Treasurer, Catalina
Barber Corp, in support of forming a
Consolidated Maintenance District and
in opposition to the method used to
calculate the new assessment fees.

Motion by Salvaggio to extend the time
to allow Mr. Eck to complete his pre-
sentation and dispense with time limit.
