A RESOLUTION DEDICATING PUBLIC STREET RIGHT OF WAY FOR
EAST PLANZ ROAD ON THE EAST SIDE OF MT. VERNON AVENUE
WHEREAS, real property located in Section 10, Township 30
South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., City of Bakersfield, Kern County,
California, has been granted to the City of Bakersfield by deeds
recorded in Book 815, Page 308 and Book 848, Page 307 of Official
Records in the Office of East Planz Road.
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield proposes to use a portion of
the property as public street right-of-way providing for the
extension of East Planz Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the City of Bakersfield hereby dedicates an easement
for public street right of way purposes over the real property
described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof.
2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular

BEING A STRIP OF LAND 30 FEET WIDE. LYING NORTHERLY OF AND
ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 10,
TOWNSHIP 30 SOUTH, RANGE 28 EAST, MOUNT DIABLO BASE AND MERIDIAN,
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 10 AS SHOWN
ON A RECORD OF SURVEY RECORDED JANUARY 24, 1950 IN BOOK 6 OF
RECORD OF SURVEY MAPS, PAGE 52 IN THE OFFICE OF THE KERN COUNTY
RECORDER; THENCE NORTH 89° 51' 50" EAST, 30.00 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH
LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 10 TO A POINT ON THE
EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF MOUNT VERNON AVENUE (60 FEET WIDE)
