Approval of Voucher Nos. 56 to 73
inclusive, in the amount of $342,879.50.
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of
November 30, 1992.
Economic Development Director Wager to
provide information to Araujo on vouchers
for Kane, Ballmer & Berkman.
Motion by Paynter to adopt Items (a) and
(b) of the Consent Calendar.

NEW BUSINESS
Agreement with Brown Motel Investment,
Inc. for brokerage services.
Economic Development Director Wager
announced Mr. Chuck Nester, Principal of
Brown Motel Investment, Inc., will be
the person staff will be working with.
Motion by Paynter to approve Agreement
with change reflecting 6 month term in
Paragraph 1, Jan 21, 1993 to July 21,
1993.

Araujo nominated Phil Gaskill for office
of Chairperson.
Motion byPaynter to close nominations.

office of Vice-Chairperson.
Motion by Araujo to close nominations.

Re-adoption of Central District Development
Agency By-Laws.
Araujo requested the Code of Ethics be
included at the end of the By-Laws.
Motion by Araujo to adopt the By-Laws
with staff investigating the possibility
of attaching the Code of Ethics to the
By-Laws.

Appointment of bond underwriter for
restructuring agency debt.
Motion by Ruddell to appoint the firm
of Sutro & Company as bond underwriter
for the restructuring of Central District
Development Agency outstanding debt.

AGENCY STATEMENTS
Ruddell announced he has accepted employment
outside the City and asked his resignation
from Agency be accepted as of the close of
this meeting.
Gaskill proposed and opened for discussion
the issue of a workshop with staff regarding
goals for this next calendar year. Agency
Members were requested to submit to Economic
Development Director Wager any issues they
want to discuss.
Paynter stated he thought a workshop is a
good idea and suggested discussing committees
at the workshop.
Economic Development Director Wager asked the
Agency Members to forward their topics to him
within the next 2-3 weeks and set the public
workshop date at the next Agency meeting,
possibly 7-10 days following the February
Agency meeting.
Rubin suggested the Agency "review its
Mission".
