Motion by Sceales to adopt Items (a)
and (b) of the Consent Calendar.

Payment of back taxes on the two
Convention Center Hotel parcels.
Motion by Araujo to authorize payment.

AGENCY STATEMENTS
Lindsay reemphasized asking the County
why a notice was not received for 5 years
regarding taxes.
Gaskill requested asking the County why
they will not reconsider assessed valuation,
and if city has the right to appeal.
Motion by Gaskill to recess to Closed
Session at 5:15 p.m.

Code Section 54956.8 regarding real
property negotiations respecting the
Convention Center Hotel (property
located at southeast corner of Truxtun
Avenue and Q Street, Bakersfield) with
