ROLL CAU. ACTION TAKEN The meeting was called to order at 4:15 p.m. by Chairperson Lindsay. Present: Absent: Agency Members Araujo, Gaskill, Lindsay, Prince, Sceales Agency Member Cohrs 2. PUBUC STATEMENTS CONSENT CALENDAR Approval of Voucher Nos. 118 through 133 inclusive, in the amount of $88,352.53. Minutes of the Special Meeting (Work- shop) and Regular Meeting of April 11, 1994. Motion by Gaskill to adopt Item a. of the Consent Calendar. APPROVED AB ARAUJO COHRS Motion by Gaskill to adopt Item b. of the Consent Calendar. APPROVED AB COHRS 4. REPORTS UNFINISHED BUSINESS Proposed Fiscal Year 1994-95 Central District Development Agency (CDDA) Budget. Economic Development Director Wager provided background information. Motion by Araujo to authorize trans- mittal of the Fiscal Year 1994-95 CDDA Budget to City Council for approval. APPROVED AB COHRS Bakersfield, California, May 9, 1994 - Page 2 6. NEW BUSINESS ACTION TAKEN Proposed Fiscal Year 1994-95 Central District Development Agency (CDDA) Budget. Economic Development Director Wager provided background information. Motion by Araujo to authorize trans- mittal of the Fiscal Year 1994-95 CDDA Budget to City Council for approval. APPROVED AB COHRS AGENCY STATEMENTS Gaskill stated there is a need for complying with AB1290 and requested an update. Economic Development Director Wager responded. Lindsay clarified that the CDDA immediate past president will serve as a Board Member of the Downtown Business Association, rotating each year. Gaskill mentioned the sidewalk cleaning demonstration will be at Mike's Uniform Company, Tuesday, May 10, 9:00 a.m. in conjunction with the unveiling of new trash receptacles by the DBA/City. Araujo asked whether Agency By-laws should be amended to include the CDDA past presi- dent serving on the DBA Board; and proposed the Code of Ethics be referenced in the By-laws. Deputy City Attorney Scanlan will draft for Agency review. 8. CLOSED SESSION 9.
