Associates for the design of Chester
Avenue Streetscape Improvements, subject
to an appropriation of $35,000 from the
Redevelopment Operating Budget Fund
balance as additional funds for the
design of the project.

Kathy Butler, Downtown Business and
Property Owners Association, spoke in
support of the consultant chosen for the
Chester Avenue Streetscape. Ms. Butler
announced the new address of the DBA is
1330 17th Street (17th & K) and invited
Agency Members to attend the ribbon
cutting at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow, February
13, 1996.
Roger McIntosh, Martin-McIntosh civil
Engineering, spoke regarding his
company's proposal on the Chester Avenue
Streetscape and the consultant interview
process.
NEW BUSINESS continued
Motion by Miller and seconded by Prince
to table the item until Martin-McIntosh
is given the opportunity to be
interviewed for the project.

Director Rojas provided further details
on the interview and rating process.
Motion by Miller and seconded by Hall to
table the item until Martin-McIntosh is
given the opportunity to be interviewed
for the project.

Motion by Sceales and seconded by Hall
to schedule a Special Meeting of the
CDDA for February 21, 1996 in Council
Chambers at 10:30 a.mo for the purpose
of bringing back the issue of the
Chester Avenue Streetscape consultant
agreement and touring the Redevelopment
Project area.
