ROLLCALL Present: Absent: - Council Chambers, City Hall 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield Agency Members Cohrs, Hall, Miller, Prince, Raphael, Sceales Agency Member Jenkins PUBLIC STATEMENTS Motion by Miller and seconded by Sceales to move New Business Item 6. a. forward on the Agenda. APPROVED AB JENKINS NEW BUSINESS Position letter regarding the potential relooation of the Kern County Health Department into Downtown Bakersfield. PUBLIC STATEMENTS continued David J. Evans, M.D., spoke regarding the Kern County Health Department moving to the Federal Building downtown; and submitted written material. (Public Statements continued on Page 2) NEW BUSINESS continued Motion by Hall to authorize Chairperson to forward a letter from the CDDA to the Kern County Board of Supervisors and to the General Services Administration (Federal) opposing the proposed Kern County Health Department relocation into the downtown Federal Building at 800 Truxtun Avenue. REPORTS 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 6. NEW BUSINESS continued b. KGET-TV plans and specifications for the project located at 2120 L Street. Cohrs and Miller announced conflicts of interest. Motion by Prince and seconded by Hall to appoint Raphael to chair the meeting for New Business Item b. Economic Development Director Wager provided background information. NEW BUSINESS continued Motion by Prince and seconded by Sceales to approve plans and specifications. Issuance of Notice of Project Compliance for Agreement No. P~95-1 with 21st and M Street Partnership. Economic Development Director Wager provided background information. Motion by Raphael and seconded Sceales to approve issuing Notice Project Compliance.
