MINUTES
MEETING OF FEBRUARY 10, 1997
REGULAR MEETING-4:00 P.M. - Council Chambers, City Hall

Cohrs called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

Payment on January 31, 1997 in the
amount of $267,692.28.
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of
January 6, 1997 and Special Meeting of
January 23, 1997.
Motion by Miller to adopt Consent
Calendar Items (a) and (b).

Hearing for the purpose of a required
review hearing evidence regarding mid-
term status of the Implementation Plan
as required by law.
Hearing opened at 4:15 p.m.
Economic Development Director Wager
introduced Development Associate
Barnes and Business Manager
Christensen, who provided a
presentation and distributed written
material.
Hearing closed at 4:33 p.m.

AGENCY STATEMENTS
Prince apologized for his absence at the
last 2 meetings.
Cohrs announced the Special Meeting on
February 19, 1997 at 4:00 p.m. regarding
the Convention Center project.
Cohrs also announced she attended the tour
of the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids
Michigan on February 8, 1997.
Miller inquired about the Chamber of
Commerce project in conjunction with the
Convention Center expansion. Economic
Development Director Wager responded.
