Motion by Raphael, seconded by Waddle to adopt
Consent Calendar Items a. and b.

a. Resolution establishing the Base Year Assessment
roll for the Old Town Kern - Pioneer Redevelopment
Project; authorizing the transmittal of a map,
boundary description and statement to taxing officials
and agencies; and authorizing payment of a filing fee
to the State Board of Equalization.

AGENCY STATEMENTS
Miller requested staff provide an explanation of the
articles in the newspaper regarding the override on the
Convention Center or the Multi Use Sports Complex.
Arriola thanked Economic Development Director Jake
Wager and staff for their hard work on the
redevelopment projects.

a. Tour of Bakersfield Centennial Garden.
Cohrs recessed the meeting to tour the Bakersfield
Centennial Garden at 4:45 p.m.
