CONSENT CALENDAR a. Minutes of the regular meeting of March 8, 1999. b. Payments from February 27, to March 19, 1999 in the amount of $33,873.74. c. Resolution authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary to accept Grant Deed for real property. d. Issuance of Notice of Project Compliance for Agreement No. RA98-2 with Pavilion Development Two, a California General Partnership. e. Issuance of Notice of Project Compliance for Agreement No. RA98-3 with Consumer Science Corporation, dba Sonic Burger, a California Corporation. Bakersfield, California, April 12, 1999 - Page 2 ACTION TAKEN Public Hearing regarding the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Southeast Bakersfield Redevelopment Plan, located north of Pacheco Road, south of California Avenue, between H Street on the west and Mt. Vernon/Cottonwood Road on the east. NAT Chairperson Miller provided a brief update. Roberta McGlashen, Quad Knoff Consultants provided an overhead presentation and answered questions. Hearing opened at 4:15 p.m. No one spoke at hearing. Hearing closed at 4:15 p.m. Public Hearing regarding the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Old Town Kern - Pioneer Redevelopment Plan, located north of California Avenue, between Oak Street on the west and Virginia Street on the east. Chairperson Miller provided a brief update. Roberta McGlashen, Quad Knoff Consultants provided an overhead presentation and answered questions. Hearing opened at 4:40 p.m. Lorraine Unger, Local Sierra Club Chapter, spoke regarding parks and traffic issues in this area. Hearing closed at 4:47 p.m. NAT 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. RES RA 8-99 Ernie Glover, G.R.C. Consultants provided a brief update. Motion by Raphael, seconded by Mishoe, to adopt the resolution for the Downtown Bakersfield Redevelopment Project. APPROVED AB WEDDLE COHRS Motion by Raphael, seconded by Mishoe, to adopt the resolution for the Proposed Old Town Kern.Pioneer Redevelopment Project. APPROVED AB WEDDLE COHRS Proposed Fiscal Year 1999/00 Central District Development Agency Budget. Economic Development Director Jake Wager provided a brief update. Motion by Prince, seconded by Arriola, to authorize the transmittal of the Fiscal Year 1999/00 Central District Development Agency Budget to the City Council for approval. APPROVED AB WEDDLE COHRS AGENCY STATEMENTS Chairperson Miller stated that attendance of CDDA meetings is important, if Agency members are not able to attend the meeting to notify Economic Development staff; meeting calendars are also available. 9.
