Minutes of the Special Joint Meeting of the Council of
the City of Bakersfield and the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency,
held in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 12:00 p.m., March 10,
1987.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Payne.
The City Clerk called the roll of the City Council as
follows:
Present: Mayor Payne. Councilmembers Christensen, Smith, Ratty,
Moore, Dickerson
Absent: Councilmembers Childs, Salvaggio
The City Clerk called the roll of the Redevelopment
Agency as follows:
Present: Agency Members Christensen, Dickerson, Moore, Smith
Absent: Agency Members Childs, Ratty, Salvaggio
Mayor Payne stated for the record that Councilmember/
Agency Member Ratty was a non-participant in this meeting upon
advice of the City Attorney.

Adoption of Resolution No. 36-87 of the
Council of the City of Bakersfield ap-
proving a Lease Agreement by and between
the City of Bakersfield and the Redevelop-
ment Agency of the City of Bakersfield
for the lease of the Public Improvements
Parcel.
Upon a motion by Councilmember Moore, Resolution No.
36-87 of the Council of the City of Bakersfield was adopted and
the Mayor was authorized to execute the agreement by the following
vote:

Noes:
Absent:
Councilmembers Christensen, Smith, Moore,
None
Councilmembers Childs, Ratty, Salvaggio
Dickerson
Adoption of Resolution No. RA3-87 of the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Bakersfield approving a Lease Agreement
by and between the City of Bakersfield
and the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Bakersfield for the lease of the
Public Improvements Parcel.
Upon a motion by Agency Member Moore, Resolution No.
RA3-87 of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Bakersfield was
adopted and the Executive Director was authorized to execute the
agreement by the following vote:
Ayes: Agency Members Christensen, Smith, Moore,
Noes: None
Absent: Agency Members Childs, Ratty, Salvaggio

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the
Redevelopment Agency, upon a motion by Agency Member Moore, the
meeting was adjourned at 12:05 p.m.

Council, upon a motion by Councilmember Christensen, the meeting
was adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
