Minutes of the Special Luncheon Meeting of the Central
District Development Agency of the City of Bakersfield, Califor-
nia, held in the South Annex Building Basement Conference Room of
City Hall at 12:00 p.m., May 19, 1987.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Robert D.
Watson.
The City Clerk called the roll as follows:
Present: Agency Members Dunn, Killmer, Paynter (seated at
12:05 p.m.), Rice, Rubin, Watson
Absent: Agency Member Patrick
NEW BUSINESS
Award of Bids - Clarion Hotel Site
Demolition.
Upon a motion by Agency Member Dunn, low bid from Valley
Tree and Construction in the amount of $136,940.00 for Phase I and
Addition A demolition was accepted, all other bids rejected, and
the Executive Director authorized to execute the Contract, by the
following vote:
Ayes: Agency Members Dunn, Killmer,
Noes: None
Absent: Agency Member Patrick
Paynter, Rice,
Rubin, Watson
