Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Central District
Development Agency of the City of Bakersfield, California, held
the Council Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, at 3:00
p.m., September 21, 1987.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Watson.
The City Clerk called the roll as follows:
Present: Agency Members Araujo, Dunn, Killmer, Rice, Rubin, Watson
Absent: Agency Member Paynter
MINUTES
Upon a motion by Agency Member Killmer, the minutes of
the Special Meeting of August 17, 1987, were approved.
BILLS AND CORRESPONDENCE
Upon a motion
to 70 inclusive, in the
following vote:
by Agency Member Killmer, Warrant Nos. 62
amount of $35,637.78, were approved by the

REPORTS
Design Review Committee Report No. 87-3
regarding Design Review of Rudolph A.
Agabashian property at 1022 Truxtun
Avenue.
Due to the absence of Agency Member Paynter, Chairman of
the Design Review Committee, Design Review Committee Report No.
87-3 was deferred to the Meeting of October 5, 1987.
NEW BUSINESS
Agreement for Exclusive Right to Negotiate
with Banducci Enterprises for a proposed
office expansion project at "F" Street and
Truxtun Avenue.
Agency Member Dunn made a motion to approve the Agree-
ment for Exclusive Right to Negotiate with Banducci Enterprises
for a proposed office expansion project at "F" Street and Truxtun
Avenue and authorize the Executive Director to execute the Agree-
ment.
Agency Member Rubin suggested that upon expiration of
the Negotiation Period, the project be brought back to the Agency
and referred to the Development Committee for study and review.
Agency Member Dunn's motion to approve the Agreement for
Exclusive Right to Negotiate with Banducci Enterprises and author-
ize the Executive Director to execute the Agreement was approved.

Status Report on the 19th Street Specific
Plan.
Associate Planner of Economic Development David Lyman
gave a verbal report on the 19th Street Project.
AGENCY STATEMENTS
Issues and Objectives of Design Review
Committee.
Due to the absence of Design Review Committee Chairman
Paynter, his Agency Statement regarding Issues and Objectives of
the Design Review Committee was deferred to the meeting of Octo-
ber 5, 1987.
Upon a motion by Agency Member Rubin, matters brought
before the Agency will be referred to the Chairman for proper re-
ferral to the appropriate Agency Committee for review and recom-
mendation.

There being no further business to come before the
Chairman Watson adjourned the meeting at 3:20 p.m.
