BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Special Meeting-January 29, 1985
The Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was called
to order by Chairman Rockoff on Tuesday, January 29, 1985 at
7:02 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The Secretary
called the roll as follows:

James Childs
Chris Christensen
Rollie Moore
Art Rockoff
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Mark Dickerson
Donald Ratty
NEW BUSINESS
(a)
Approval of Resolution of the Bakersfield Redevelop-
ment Agency declaring a public necessity for the taking
of certain properties for the implementation of the
Redevelopment Plan for the downtown Bakersfield
Redevelopment Project (Code of Civil Procedure,
Section 1245.230).
Executive Director Caravalho stated the Board of Supervisors
failed to accept the Offer to Purchase the Hall of Records, and
therefore, this issue is moot. He indicated that there has been
much activity relative this this matter, and that it would be
more appropriately discussed at a regular meeting of the Agency.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Redevelop-
ment Agency, Agency Member Moore made a motion to adjourn the
meeting at 7:05 p.m.
