BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Regular Meeting--February 13, 1985
The Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was called to
order by Chairman Rockoff on Wednesday, February 13, 1985 at 5:02
p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The Secretary called the
roll as follows:

MEMBERS ABSENT:
Donald Ratty
MINUTES
Upon a motion by Agency Member Moore, the Minutes of the
Regular Meeting of January 9, the Special Meeting of January 29,
and the Regular Meeting of January 30, 1985 were approved as
presented.
NEW BUSINESS
(a)
Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency, Quad Consultants
and DMJM Consultants to do Phase One of the Work Program
for implementation and codification of the Redevelopment
Element of the General Plan.
Mr. Kennon stated that in August of 1984, the City Council
approved the Redevelopment Element of the General Plan. That
document provides policy, guidelines, and standards for the develop-
ment and redevelopment of the downtown. He stated that the con-
sultants will work toward implementation plans and ordinances to
codify the Redevelopment Element. He stated that staff has requested
that the consultants appear before the Agency on March 13 in order
to make a presentation on the urban design and the basic format
that is going to be used in interpreting the guidelines and policies.
Upon a motion by Agency Member Moore, the Agreement No. RA
with Quad Consultants and DMJM Consultants, was approved by the
following vote:
AYES: Moore, Rockoff, Barton, Childs, Christensen, Dickerson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Ratty

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment
Agency, Agency Member Childs made a mo~oh to adjourn at 5:07 p.m.
