BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Special Meeting-October 31, 1979
A Special Meeting of the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency was called
to order by Chairman Casper, Wednesday, October 31, 1979 at 4 p.m. in the City
Council Chamber for the purpose of considering the assignment of the interests
in a Participation and Development Agreement with the Agency to other interests.
The secretary called the roll as follows:

ITEM I:
ACTION TO APPROVE OR DENY THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE INTERESTS OF GUAY &
DANIELS0N IN THE PARTICIPATION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT (RA8-77, CALIFOR-
NIA REPUBLIC BANK) TO CHESTER AVENUE ASSOCIATES.
Mr. Oberholzer reviewed the sections of the assignment from Guay &
Danielson to Chester Avenue Associates, advising that approval or denial
is required of the Agency if a transfer of interests is to be made by
Guay and Danielson. Guay & Danielson submitted a document by which all
of the obligations and responsibilities of Guay & Danielson were assumed
by Chester Avenue Associates.
Mr. Guay stated that ten units were being sold to "limited partners,"
strictly as a tax benefit to him and his partners. He assured the
Agency he was aware that all the responsibilities of the original
Agreement remained with Guay & Danielson, the general partners of
Chester Avenue Associates.
Following discussion, Ms. Foth moved the Agency approve and consent to
the assignment of the ground lease recorded on June 26, 1978, Book 5120,
Page 1320 of the Official Records of Kern County, California, and accept
the Assumption Agreement as executed by Guay & Danielson and place on
file. The motion was seconded by Mr. Poehner, and carried by following
vote:
AYES: Casper, Foth, Lewis, Mooneyham, Poehner and Puder
NOES: None
ABSENT: King
ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Casper reminded members of up-coming meetings of interest, and
there being no further business to come before the Agency, he adjourned the
meeting at 4:20 p.m.
