Minutes of a recessed special meeting of the Bakersfield
Redevelopment Agency held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
at 4:00 P. M., October 3, 1974.
The meeting was called to order at 4:35 P.
Robert E. King. The Secretary called the roll

Approval of Plans and Elevations for
remodeling commercial office building
located on the northwest corner of
17th and "L" Streets.
Upon a motion by.Mr. Stewart, seconded by Mr. Taber, in
accordance with Section 423 of the Bakersfield Downtown Redevelop-
ment Plan, Plans and Elevations for remodeling commercial office
building located on the northwest corner of 17th and "L" Streets,
were approved.

Approval of Agreement for Construction
Inspector's Services with Floyd Home
for the "K" Street Parking Garage.
Upon a motion by Mr. Taber, seconded by Mr. Lee, Agreement
for Construction Inspector's Services with Floyd Home for the "K"
Street Parking Garage, was approved.
Approval of Three Week Extension of
Time for "Exclusive Offer to Negotiate"
with John S. Griffith ~ Co. for the
development of a downtown regional
shopping center.
Mr. Eugene Jacobs, Special Counsel to the Redevelopment
Agency, explained that the reason for the delay is to allow his
office time to complete a full draft of the contract.
Upon a motion by Mr. Stewart, seconded by Mr. Lee, Three
Week Extension of Time for "Exclusive Offer to Negotiate" with
John S. Griffith & Co. for the development of a downtown regional
shopping center, was approved.
