Minutes of a special meeting of the Bakersfield Redevelop-
ment Agency held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 4:00
P. M., October 10, 1974.
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P. M. by Vice-
Chairman Vincent Casper. The Secretary called the roll as follows:

Absent:
Robert E. King, Chairman
Dr. Glenn D. Puder
Mr. Mark Breakstone, representing the office of Mr. Eugene
Jacobs, Special Counsel to the Redevelopment Agency, explained the
final plans prepared by Tumblin Company/Unicon Parking Structures,
Inc. and displayed a special rendering of the "K" Street Parking
Garage.
Approval of Plans and Specifications
for the "K" Street Parking Garage.
Upon a motion by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mr. Stewart, Plans
and Specifications submitted by Tumblin Company/Unicon Parking
Structures, Inc. pursuant to Contract No. RA4-74, were approved.
Approval of Issuance of Notice to
Proceed with Construction of the "K"
Street Parking Garage and Change Order
for Extension of Time for Completion
of "K" Street Parking Garage.
Upon a motion by Mr. Stewart, seconded by Mr. Taber,
the following motion was approved:
That the Community Development Director
is hereby authorized to issue a "Notice
to Proceed with construction of the "K"
Street Parking Garage" to Tumblin Company/
Unicon Parking Structures, Inc. within
seven (7) days from the date of this motion.
That the Community Development Director is
hereby authorized to issue a Change Order
to Contract No. RA4-74 with Tumblin Company/
Unicon Parking Structures, Inc. to extend
the time for completion of the work to 120
calendar days after the date of issuance of
the Notice to Proceed with Construction.
