BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Special Meeting - May 11, 1976
A Special Meeting of the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency was called
to order by Chairman Vincent Casper on April 27, 1976, at 4 p.m. in the Caucus
Room of C~ty Hail.
The secretary called the roll as follows:
PRESENT: Vincent Casper, Chairman
Jeanne Foth
Ray Pettit
Dr. Glenn Puder
ABSENT: Robert E. King, Ralph H. Poehner and
Jim Stewart
STAFF: Dick Foster, Deputy Executive D~rector
Chairman Casper introduced Ms. Jeanne Foth, newly appointed member,
who fills the vacancy created by the death of Mr. Theron Taber.
ITEM 1:
Resolution Recommending Proposed Amendments to Owner Participation
Ruling - On motion by Dr. Puder, seconded by Mr. Pettit, and carried,
Resolution No. RA2-76, "A Resolution of the Bakersfield Redevelopment
Agency Recommending Amendment to the 'Amended Rules Governing Partici-
pation and Preferences by Owners, Operators of Businesses, and Tenants
in the Downtown Bakersfield Redevelopment Project' and Authorizing the
Preparation of Such Proposed Amendment and the Transmittal of Notice
of Such Proposed Amendment to Participants Who Have Filed Statements of
Interest." was approved by the following vote:
YES: Puder, Pettit, Casper and Foth
NO: None
ABSENT: King and Stewart
ITEM 2: Authorization to Send Notices to Participants Who Have Filed Statement
of Interest - On motion by Ms. Foth, seconded by Mr. Pettit, and carried,
the Agency authorized staff to send notices to persons who have filed a
statement of interest to participate in the Downtown Bakersfield Rede-
velopment Project.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Bakersfield Redevelop-
ment Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 4:12 p.m.
