BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Regular Adjourned Meeting - November 10,
1977
The Regular Meeting of the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency held
October 25, 1977, was adjourned to be continued at this time. Chairman Casper
called the Regular Adjourned Meeting to order on Thursday, November 10, t977 at
4 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
The secretary called the roll as follows:

Ralph N. Poehner

Dr. Glenn D. Puder, Vice Chairman
STAFF:
Denny Haynes, Treasurer
Richard Oberholzer, Assistant City Attorney
Cal Bidwell, Building Director
Chairman Casper introduced Mr. Cai Bidwell, new Building Director of
the City.

California Republic Bank Project:
1)
Resolution of Necessity - Mr. Oberholzer explained that a Notice of Intent
to adopt a Resolution of Necessity was mailed to all property owners
within the project area, giving date, time and place for consideration of
the resolution, in compliance with Eminent Domain Law.
Chairman Casper asked if there was anyone present who wished to speak for
the property owners. There being none, he asked for discussion by Agency
members. Following discussion, Mr. Poehner moved to adopt RA4-77,
"RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD PURSUANT TO EMINENT DOMAIN LAW OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA." The
motion was seconded by Ms. Foth, and adopted by the following roll call
vote:

Specifications and Bids for Demolition - Mr. Oberholzer advised the next
step of the project is to prepare for demolition of existing structures.
Following discussion, on motion by Mr. Poehner, seconded by Mr. Lewis,
and carried, the Agency authorized Public Works Department to prepare
necessary specifications, and to advertise for bids for demoliton of
existing structures.

Next Meeting Date - The next scheduled meeting date is November 22, 1977.
