BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Adjourned Regular Meeting - December 15, 1977
The Regular Meeting of November 22, 1977, was adjourned to be reconvened
on December 8th, again on December 9th, and again on December 15th. Chairman
Casper called the Adjourned Regular Meeting to order Thursday, December 15, 1977,
at 4 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
The secretary called the roll as follows:

California Republic Bank Project: Following action:
Award Bid - Mr. Haynes presented members with a copy of the only bid
received following re-advertisement for bids on the Agency's $775,000
notes, which was from Bank of America at an interest rate of 5.5%.
Following discussion, on motion by Mr. Lewis, seconded by Mr. Mooneyham,
the Agency waived any irregularity that might be in the bid, and adopted
RAlO-77, "RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD AWARDING $775,000 NOTES OF SAID AGENCY TO THE BEST BIDDER AND
REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS." (The best bid was from Bank of America at
an interest rate of 5.5%.) The motion carried, by the following roll
call vote:

Approval of Agreement - Chairman Casper called for a motion for approval
of the Participation and Development Agreement for this project, pointing
out that there had been one change of note, i.e., "This agreement to be
effective only after the Office of Superintendent of Banks, State of
California, State Banking Department, approves the site relocation of
California Republic Bank."
Following discussion, on motion by Mr. Lewis, seconded by Dr. Puder, the
Agency approved, and authorized the Chairman to sign, RA8-77, "PARTICIPA-
TION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT, OFFICE BUILDING, PARKING, AND BANKING
FACILITIES," by and between the Agency, California Republic Bank, and
Guay & Danielson. The motion carried by the following roll call vote:

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Bakersfield Redevelop-
ment Agency, Chairman Casper adjourned the meeting at 4:25 p.m.
