HomeMy WebLinkAbout03/15/78 MINUTES RA MINUTES BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Special Meeting - March 15, 1978 A Special Meeting of the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Chairman Casper Wednesday, March 15, 1978, at 4 p.m. in the City Council Chamber. The secretary called the roll as follows: PRESENT: V~ncent Casper, Chairman Jeanne Foth Frank S. Lewis John S. Mooneyham ABSENT: Robert E. King Ralph H. Poehner, Vice Chairman Dr. Glenn D. Puder STAFF: Dick Foster, Deputy Executive Director Richard Oberholzer, Assistant City Attorney ~TEM I: Acceptance of Three Deeds (Block 285, California Republic Bank Project) from Santa Monica Bank a.nd Cloyd Daniel Smith~ Trustees for Alberta Haberfelde Smith, Deceased - Chairman Casper requested Mr. Oberholzer explain the action required by the Agency on this item. Mr. Oberholzer explained property covered by these three deeds were for 85 front feet in Block 285 facing Chester Avenue, and that each deed must be accepted by a separate motion and a roll call vote. Following discussion, on motion by Ms. Foth, seconded by Mr. Lewis, GRANT DEED NO. 24063, dated February 16, 1978, was accepted by the following roll call vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Casper, Foth, Lewis and Mooneyham None King, Poehner and Puder Following discussion, on motion by Mr. Mooneyham, seconded by Mr. Lewis, GRANT DEED NO. 24064, dated February 16, 1978, was accepted by the following roll call vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Casper, Foth, Lewis and Mooneyham None King, Poehner and Puder Following discussion, on motion by Mr. Lewis, seconded by Ms. Foth, GRANT DEED NO. 24065, dated February 16, 1978, was accepted by the following roll call vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Casper, Foth, Lewis and Mooneyham None King, Poehner and Puder Mr. Oberholzer stated payment for all the property totalled $209.533.00.
