BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Special Meeting June 21, 1978
A Special Meeting of the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency was called
to order by Chairman Casper, Wednesday, June 21, 1978, at 4 p.m. in the Caucus
Room of City Hall, for the purpose of discussing pending litigation.
The secretary called the roll as follows:

STAFF:
H. E. Bergen, Executive Director
Richard Oberholzer, Assistant City Attorney
Murray Kane, Agency Counsel (E. B. Jacob's Office, Los Angeles)
Chairman Casper introduced Mr. Murray Kane, Special Counsel for the
Agency; Mr. David Vordermark, President of California Republic Bank; and Mr. David
Salyer of the Bakersfield Board of Realtors who was in the audience.
At this time Chairman Casper requested all guests to leave the room in
order that the Agency might conduct an executive session as scheduled.
ITEM. I: EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS PENDING LITIGATION - Participation in this
session was limited to the four Agency members and three staff members listed
above.
Following discussion in the executive session, on motion by Mr. Poehner,
seconded by Mr. Lewis, and carried, the Agency adopted the Implementation Agree-
ment recommended by Mr. Kane (Agency Counsel) between California Republic Bank and
Guay & Danielson and the Agency, for the adjustment of payment provisions contained
in the Participation and Development Agreement (RA8-77) dated December 21, 1977,
and the extension of the escrow date to June 27, 1978.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Bakersfield Redevelop-
ment Agency, Chairman Casper adjourned the meeting at 5:55 p.m.
