Special Joint Central District Development Agency
and City Council meeting of June 16, 1999.
Payments from May 1, 1999 to July 2, 1999 in the
amount of $31,754.66.
Correspondence from Pamela A. McCarthy, City
Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, transmitting
Ordinance 3904 adopting the Old Town Kern-Pioneer
Redevelopment Project Area.
Correspondence from Pamela A. McCarthy, City
Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, transmitting
Ordinance 3905 adopting the Southeast
Redevelopment Project Area.
Agency Member Miller requested the Finance
Director provide additional information regarding
net negative revenue for the months
apportionments on Redevelopment per a letter
from the County.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Weddle to adopt
Consent Calendar Items a. thru d.

a. Senior Housing Project:
Resolution of the Central District
Development Agency of the City of
Bakersfield Regarding the Use of Housing Set
Aside Monies Outside the Downtown
Redevelopment Project Area.
Agreement with Golden Empire Affordable
Housing, Inc. for Redevelopment Housing
Set-Aside funds for a 80-unit Senior Project
north of Central Park.
Bill Carter, Executive Director Housing Authority of
County of Kern, and Danny Fred, Fred Consulting
Association provided a brief overview and answered
questions.
Motion by Raphael, Seconded by Weddle to
recess at 4:30 p.m., the meeting was reconvened
at 4:40 p.m.
