ROLL CALL Present: Absent: Chairpemon Mishoe, Agency Members, Prince, Davenport, Cohen, Raphael, Schroeder Agency Member Martinez ACTION TAKEN 3o PUBLIC STATEMENTS Marvin Dean, representing Southeast Bakersfield Neighborhood Housing Group, spoke in support of California Housing Finance Agency Loan. PRESENTATIONS None. CONSENT CALENDAR Minutes of the Special Meeting of December 9, 2002. Payments from November 30, 2002 to December 26, 2002 in the amount of $70,916.68, and payments from December 27, 2002 to February 6, 2003 in the amount of $175,371.08. Component Unit Financial Report (CUFR) for the Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2002. Agreement Assigning the California Housing Finance Agency Loan of $500,000 from the City to the Agency. RECEIVE AND FORWARD TO CITY COUNCIL RA03-001 36 Bakersfield, California, February 18, 2003 - Page 2 ACTION TAKEN Motion by Cohen, seconded by Raphael to adopt Consent Calendar Items a. through d., and defer approval of payment to Mary Louise Mackey in the amount of $8,995.00 APPROVED AB MARTINEZ REPORTS None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. NEW BUSINESS Election of Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for Calendar Year 2003. Cohen nominated Mishoe to serve as Chairperson for Calendar Year 2003. Mishoe accepted the nomination. Motion by Schroeder, seconded by Davenport, to close nominations. APPROVED AB MARTINEZ Cohen nominated Davenport to serve as Vice- Chairperson for Calendar Year 2003. Davenport accepted the nomination. Motion by Schroeder, seconded by Anthony to close nominations. APPROVED AB MARTINEZ AGENCY STATEMENTS Chairman Mishoe stated that it is a pleasure to serve the Agency as Chairman. Agency Member Prince thanked the Mayor and Council for his appointment to the Agency and stated he looks forward to working with the Agency.
