REGULAR MEETING
1. ROLL CALL
Present:
Chairperson Mishoe, Agency Members,
Martinez, Prince, Raphael, Schroeder (4:13
p.m.)
Absent: Agency Members, Cohen, Davenport
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Prince, to add an item to
the agenda as item 6b, which arose after the agenda was
posted and required action at this Council meeting.

Approval of contract with Bobby and Dotti Harper to
purchase real property located at 930 California Avenue.
PUBLIC STATEMENTS
Stephanie Campbell spoke regarding the
Southeast Redevelopment Project Area.

Motion by Raphael, seconded by Prince, to adopt
Consent Calendar Item a.

Bakersfield, California, April 14, 2003 - Page 2
Mt. Vernon Avenue Property
1. Agreement to sell approximately 110 acres
of real property located on Mt. Vernon
Avenue south of Highway 58 to Les
Denherder, Trustee of the Denherder
Revocable Living Trust, for $650,000.
2. Forward proceeds of sale to City of
Bakersfield and request forgiveness of
balance owed under Agreement No. 99-243.
Alan Tandy, Executive Director, provided information
regarding the sale of the Mt. Vernon Avenue property.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Schroeder, to approve
the Agreement and forward the proceeds to City with
request for forgiveness of balance of purchase price.
b. Approval of contract with Bobby and Dotti Harper to
purchase real property located at 930 California
Avenue.
Alan Tandy, Executive Director, provided information
regarding the purchase of property.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Prince, to approve the
Contract to purchase real property at 930 California
Avenue.
