A RESOLUTION DEDICATING PUBLIC STREET RIGHT OF WAY
FOR MT. VERNON AVENUE ON CITY MUNICIPAL FARM PROPERTY
SOUTH OF EAST BELLE TERRACE IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
WHEREAS, real property located in Sections 3, 9 and 10,
Township 30 South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., City of Bakersfield, Kern
County, California, has been granted to the City of Bakersfield by
deeds recorded in Book 205, Page 111, Book 294, Page 494, Book 815,
Page 308, Book 848, page 307 and Book 1131, Page 316 of Official
Records in the Office of the Kern County Recorder; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield proposes to use a portion of
the property as public street right-of-way providing for the
southerly extension of Mr. Vernon Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the City of Bakersfield hereby dedicates an easement
for public street right of way purposes over the real property
described as follows:
The west 55 feet of Section 3, the east 30 feet of Section 9,
the west 30 feet of Section 10 and the north 200 feet of the
east 25 feet of the west 55 feet of Section 10, Township 30
South, Range 28 East, M.D.M., City of Bakersfield, Kern
County, California.
Excepting that portion within the North 3420.04 feet of said
Section 3.
2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
