AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION
14.12.385 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO DEDICATING A
SOURCE OF REVENUE FOR STATE
REVOLVING FUND LOANS.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield desires to pledge net revenues
of the sewer enterprise fund to the repayment of State Revolving Fund Loan(s) instead of
sewer user charges; and
WHEREAS, the State of California permits the pledge of revenue sources to be
accomplished by resolution as well as ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Council prefers to pledge revenues via resolution.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 14.12.385 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with provisions of the Bakersfield
Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after the date of its
passage.
