RESOLUTION AMENDING THE OFFICIAL LIST OF
DESIGNATED SPEED ZONES.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to Sections 22357
and 22358 of the California Vehicle Code and Chapter 10.24 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code,
desires to enact prima facie speed limits on portions of a roadway within the City of Bakersfield;
and
WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limits are being established for streets in the
City of Bakersfield after traffic engineering surveys were conducted; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are tree and incorporated herein.
2. Under provisions of Sections 22357 and 22358 of the California Vehicle
Code, the prima facie speed limit for the following streets; or portions thereof, are hereby
determined and declared to be as shown below, and shall be included in the official City "List of
Speed Zones":

Old River Road, from Campus Park Drive to White Lane
