HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 30-94 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BiCKERSFIELD ORDERING PREPAEATION OF AMENDED REASSESSMENT TO SEGREGATE AND APPORTION UNPAID INSTALLMENTS OF EXISTING REASSESSMENT AND SETTING TIME AND PLACE OF HF2~RING THEREON CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 86-2 REASSESSMENT ~ DIAGRAM AMENDMENTS NOS. i THROUGH 11 RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL (the "Council") OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD (the "City"), as follows: WHEREAS, on January 12, 1994, the Council adopted Resolution No. 14-94, approving and confirming Reassessment Report, making findings in connection therewith and ordering refunding and reassessment in connection with City of Bakersfield Assessment District No. 86-2 (the "District"); and WHEREAS, certain reassessments of the District have been affected by division or transfer of ownership of the original parcels of land within the District. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The street superintendent of the City shall file with the City Clerk a report and an amended reassessment of the following lots or parcels of land affected by division or transfer of ownership in said Assessment District No. 86-2, segregating and apportioning the unpaid installments of the original reassessment in accordance with the benefits to the several parts of the original lots or parcels plus costs and fees of making the apportionment, which are hereby fixed at no charge for this proceeding: ASSESSMENT NO. Wednesday, April 6, 1994, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., in the regular meeting place of the Council, being the Council Chambers, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, be and the same are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where this Council will hear and consider protests to the amended reassessment and segregation and apportionment of the unpaid installments of the original reassessment. At the time of said hearing, all persons interested in the original reassessment or in the land affected thereby or in the bonds secured thereby may appear and protest the amended reassessment or the segregation and apportionment of the unpaid installments. 3. Upon the filing of the report and amended reassessment, the Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing on the report and amended reassessment by publication twice, on separate days, in the Bakersfield Californian, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City. The first publication of such notice shall occur not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing.
