A RESOLUTION APPROVING KERN RIVER
PARKWAY FOUNDATIO~ SI~N AND WAIVING
PERMIT FEE FOR TH~ SIGN.
The Kern River Parkway Foundation has designed, and is
proposing to dedicate to the City of Bakersfield, a concrete sign
having the form described in Exhibit A, attached; and
The Community Services Committee has considered, and
recommends the Council approve, the location, concept, and design,
waive the sign permit fee, and, in due course, by Resolution,
accept dedication of the sign.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
The Council approves the location, design, and
construction concept of the Kern River Parkway
Foundation proposed sign.
In due course, after the sign has been constructed,
installed, inspected, and approved by City staff,
the City Council will consider accepting dedication
of the sign.

City staff is directed and instructed to waive
sign permit fee for this sign.
