RECORDED BY GALE S. ENSTAD F~ERN COUNTY RECORD:!R 15 PH 1:59 WHEREAS, on Wednesday, June 15, 1994, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 1119 declaring its intention to order the vacation of King Street between East 19th Street and East Trnxtun Avenue in the City of Bakersfield; and WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation, which said hearing was held on Wednesday, July 13, 1994, after notices were duly published and posted as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein. 2. King Street between East 19th Street and East Trnxtun Avenue in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more particularly described as that portion of right of way for King Street being 80 feet in width (per "Map of Kern" filed April 10, 1893 in the office of the Kern County Recorder) bounded westerly by the east line of Block 125, bounded easterly by the west line of Block 126, bounded northerly by the south right of way line of East 19th Street and bounded southerly by the north right of way line of East Trnxtun Avenue relocated, is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and is hereby vacated, subject to the conditions enumerated herein. 3. The south 5 feet of the west 40 feet of the above described vacated area shall be reserved as nonexclusive easement and right of way for existing City of Bakersfield storm drain facilities. 4.
