RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER OF WORK
AND AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT FOR
ASSESSMENT ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH
WILSON AND ASSOCIATES
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 93-3
(CALIFORNIA-OAK)
IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL (the "Council") OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD as follows:
WHEREAS, the Council has determined to undertake
proceedings pursuant to special assessment and assessment bond acts
for the construction, acquisition and financing of a public
improvement project in this city; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be
served by appointing and employing an Engineer of Work for the
preparation and conducting of such proceedings and work in
connection with the public improvement project;
THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL FINDS, DETERMINES AND ORDERS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Director of Public Works of the City of
Bakersfield is hereby appointed as the Engineer of Work and
employed to do and perform all engineering work necessary in and
for the special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for City
of Bakersfield Assessment District No. 93-3.
2. The Engineer of Work is further authorized to
receive, review, approve and utilize assessment engineering
services being provided for Assessment District No. 93-3 by Edward
J. Wilson, R.C.E. No. 23269, dba Wilson and Associates.
3. The agreement presented herewith retaining Edward J.
Wilson, R.C.E. 23269, dba Wilson and Associates, as the assessment
engineer is approved, and the City official(s) designated thereon
are hereby authorized and directed to execute the agreement on
behalf of the City.
4. All engineering fees and all other charges of the
Engineer of Work, including but not limited to assessment
engineering services, shall be assessed as incidental expenses of
the special assessment and assessment bond proceedings.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on October 6, 1993, by the following vote:
