a. Minutes of the regular meeting of October 11, 1999.
b. Payments from October 2, to October 29, 1999 in the
amount of $1,881.48.
Motion by Mishoe, Seconded by Raphael, to
adopt Consent Calendar Items a. and b.
REPORTS
None.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
a. Annuat Report of the Central District Development
Agency.
Motion by Raphael, Seconded by Prince, to
approve the report and submit it to the City
Council for review and any necessary action as
determined by Council.
AGENCY STATEMENTS
Miller thanked Agency Member Mishoe for chairing the last
CDDA meeting in his absence.

ACTION TAKEN
Miller welcomed new CDDA members Shirlyn Davenport and
Gil Anthony.
Miller stated Paul Crawford, representing Pantattoni
Development Co., gave a brief report regarding the plans for
the new development south of the Centennial Garden.
Raphael asked why the agreement with John Q. Hammons
was not on the agenda. Wager stated this item will be
deferred until it goes before the Hammons' Board.
Mishoe requested a status report regarding the CDDA name
change. Wager stated the name change to the Bakersfield
Redevelopment Agency (RDA) went to City Council on
November 3, 1999; the Amendment to the Bylaws will be on
the December 13, 1999 Agency agenda; and the official
name change will not be in effect until the State receives and
accepts the amended Bylaws.
Millerannounced therewill be a Redevelopment Association
Workshop on November 19, 1999 at the Bakersfield
Convention Center.
Economic Development Director Jake Wager recommended
the Agency forego the election for the Vice-Chair until the first
meeting in January, 2000.
Prince welcomed new CDDA members Shidyn Davenport
and Gil Anthony.
